@GY5NwQQ-tym, do your homework. Verizon did not buy Vodaphone, they bought Vodaphone's share of VzW, which I mentioned. I also mentioned that they use their profits in order to make the bond payments, which they used to finance the deal.
vjp, are you forgetting the money does come out of thin air, how do think they purchased Vodaphone? they did not put down $130 billion and now have all that debt.

Your reasoning makes no sense. That one billion per month in profits per month does not just sit there. Have you considered how bond payments (bonds issues for the Wireless buyout) get paid for? How about capital investments, or acquisitions? Insurance payments? Taxes? Profit sharing? The money for these payments does not come out of thin air.
