It's not just Verizon, it's the corporate model today

Verizon has one agenda and will try do anything they have to attain it . Its evident they don't care about anyone or anything. Many on here will say that is the cost of doing business. At some point you have to look at the price that will be paid in that strategy. They have pencil pushers figuring out the numbers. Cable companies are frowned upon already, and wireless companies are seeing competition eating at their bottom line. Verizon large debt load and lose of market share has affected their ability to run their business that is in the best interest to the consumer, stockholder and its employees.
Clearly this was written by one of Verizon's many, many H1Bs.
No, they are not.

They have offered a very good, all be it, not as good as before contract.
The union is well overpaid, from days going by.
Accept a decent, but not great contract, and get back to work.
