The biggest mistake was putting all the eggs in the wireless basket and then buying out Vodafone before wireless profits took a dump. Now they're putting billions into perennial losers like Yahoo and AOL trying to catch the ad revenue that's already locked up by Google and Facebook. Really, this CEO is like a babe lost in the woods.

Not only did Verizon have a chance to be a leader on fiber , they now are far behind in technology . Google is kicking their *ss.
The fact that VZ invested billions on FiOS only to allow Amazon,Google,Netflix,Home security retailers use their High speed internet to innovate and thrive ......is very disturbing. VZ should lead the industry on these products...but they always wait till everyone enters the market and the wake up. Think big VZ executive, even your wireless upper hand will fall soon
