Nothing is getting done? Interesting. I assumed there are big differences between different areas. As I know, Mid-Atlantic area is totally fine.
Doesn't matter if anything is getting done or not. No one tells higher management the truth at Verizon. The guys at the top only see the bottom line and that's only going up as their biggest expense is out walking the line. Sure they'll see it in a couple of months. But by then the permanent replacements will be there and the CWA will be gone for good.
I guess it just depends where your at now doesn't it. Get off your couch and go to work. Looser

Hiring former AT&T and Frontier (Verizon) union process change layoffs began Friday. So far only forty or so, with offers out to a ton more. Former union members coming in to SCAB your asses is MF-ing hilarious!

So true, but it's been said before.Verizon folks or non Verizon folks posting things to fire everyone up. The people working now and the Technicians on strike are both hated by this company.The continued taking things away from both sides Employees of giant corporations often are propagandized to believe they belong to some kind of company family. This suits the business purpose of the company. When business turns bad, however, the family idea is dropped. Loyalty goes out the window and dismissal notices go out in the mail.
There are going down big time..... nothing is getting done. The EWA people are just riding around in circles. Every Union member know's this, and they see it on the picket line. We are mobile picketing and they are getting nothing done. Zero The Union is WINNING BIG TIME.
As usual, instead of both sides pointing at the same bad guy, we are pointing at each other. As long as this continues, all of the workers and customers will suffer.
You never know what any of us will be doing Craft or Management.

It will only get better as time goes on. Prices will drop since they will not be paying the high priced CWA workers. The question is what will you the guy with no job do next month? I hear Home Depot is hiring.
I for one am hoping they build a cricket field behind Basking Ridge and have curry Fridays in the cafeteria.
This should be a really interesting Annual Meeting when LowMac and his cheesy gang of execs get to explain how they intend to trash all of its technology to become just another youtube wanna be.

The company execs will be crapping in their pants. They Annual Meeting is on May 5th and I imagine that lowmac and all his little girlie friend and metrosexual buddies will have some serious splaining to do!
