Now that would be silly.
But I will add that the term 'candlepower', which originally was a measure of light from a candle, was hijacked in 1921 by the International Commission for Illumination (aka Big Light) to refer to the light from an incandescent lamp. Candle makers were screwed once again.
That would be a good analogy if you also said that the light bulbs essentially ran on the candle wick network.
In other news, Lowell has so much free time he can troll on this website...
You know nothing of unions and less of how the real world works. If any group of candle makers were to protest light bulb executives, it would not be the Candle Makers Union. It would be a candle makers industry group, made up of candle maker manufacturers and candle maker executives.
The candle maker executives would lobby Congress to reign in the unfair and unfettered competition by the light bulb industry, and they would file frivolous patent lawsuits claiming that the light bulb industry stole the idea of the filament from the candle makers who first invented it in the form of a candle wick.
The candle maker executives would claim they are owed over a 130 years' worth of restitution for patent infringement, unpaid licensing fees, and lost revenue. They would have RICO charges brought against the light bulb makers, claiming a pattern of monopolistic and restraint of trade practices beginning with Edison, himself, who infamously said in 1879: "We will make electricity so cheap that only the rich will burn candles."
No, it would not be the candle makers union protesting the light bulb executives.
Seems by the response you hit the nail on the head.
When the response, and only insult, they cannot argue.
You hit a nerve with GX6, there.

Posted by a total a$$wipe scab. I just watched that video about go90, and I have to say that based on the Verizon execs in that video, that company looks like it is turning really gay. What a bunch of f--s. Oh man. That was comical.
