Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Those who go on strike and then lose their jobs shouldn't get unemployment/food-stamps!! Because that will be the next line you will be in!!!!!

Didn't sell they were leased out to AT!!! Big difference!!!!!!!!....FYI.....the future is being a cell-tech....ask any switch-tech, sysperf, engineer, or manger......but one day my job will go away......that why its my personal responsibility to stay ahead of the game and not think I'm obligated a job!................

You guys are going to lose!!!!!!! Every day we get a daily emails on how the contractors are doing your union jobs with little customer impact......after Bernie/Clinton leaves NY next Tuesday...they both will be like "what strike"........for example.....when was the last time you heard them mention water/Flint!!!!!!!!....I think they will be in WV next looking for a coal miner to get their picture taken with...............BTW tell the Union Bosses to plan a strike when the weather is going to be bad..............as long as the weather is good it makes the replacements look even better!!!

They can hire people to splice fiber pretty cheap, which it sounds like is their plan. I think you may need to be getting your resume updated -- there aren't many dinosaurs around that still sell wireline services so you better move fast.

WOW....you have proved my point! I splice/install dark fiber, install and turn-up Cisco routers, work on Nortel and Lucent CDMA equipment, turn-up Ericsson LTE macro, small cells, maintain HVAC/generators, and many other things!!!!.........................a lot of contractors can do that one job of yours "splice fiber".....you guys pick the wrong time to strike
