Posting Because I Finished All My Work For The Day

So far it has been great! I am sitting here having time to post while waiting for another ticket to work on! I really think the union made a bad decision to go on strike. I hear call volume is also not that bad and almost typical for a normal end of the work week. And yes I'm a scab and proud and I also like my paycheck!

OP ... you need to spend some time with the character I observed today. Took 30 minutes just to set up their ladder. Yes, THEIR ladder. It took two of them.

No one who is working in the field is going to be posting here. If they are, then they are obviously not doing the job.

Dgk. So what?! It doesn't sound bad at all. Everybody know union is on strike. Delays is predictable before this strike. Every customer understand it, it is not a news for all Americans. People already got used to union strike here or there and the delays they cause.

I am a manager now but was a tech for many years. While I am enjoying being back outside temporarily I am not happy about the reason. Several of my old work partners are on that picket line and it sucks to have to cross. I wish them luck but in my gut I don't see this ending well as the higher ups seem to be digging in their heels. I really wish they kept negotiating and did not walk.

Eat this for dinner scab:

"We do have a bit of a delay," said Tami Erwin, Verizon's Group President - Consumer and Mass Business Sales and Service, said. "We're working hard with customers to prioritize repair above activations and provisioning because we owe that to our existing customers."

In a week or two the company should be able to do new installations, she said. It normally has about 30,000 to 35,000 of them each week, with over 30 percent of customers opting to do a self-installation.

Alot different in my work area, the replacement workers are filling there diapers, not having a clue how to fix the trouble. How long is a customer going to go with working internet in there home. Answer not more than 2 nights because that customer has a choice of providers now, and they will not be waiting for Verizon, they will be switching.

They took 2 long, why? 2 possible scenarios, 1-they were on vacation, 2- they don't care

Hey F*%#tard,

If "they" (since obviously you're either a troll or a piece of sh&t just looking to stir the pot) are so efficient why don't the scabs / H1B / inept managers take over doing installation work ??

Yeah, that's what I thought
