Hopefully you understand that in the layoffs which follow the strike, if the company did not fall apart because you were not doing your 'real' job, you will likely be part of that layoff. But hey, thanks for taking the time to screw some other employee out of their work. Karma I think they call that.
I don't work for Verizon but have seen striking workers at several locations. Maybe it is the unflattering t-shirts, but most of the picketers look like low-lifes, especially when they hooting and hollering. I think that if they get the contract they want, they should mandate a fitness center membership, as both males and females are so out of shape. I really don't like seeing these folks, wish they would go elsewhere.
@dad Get your facts straight before you post.......The Union is not asking for one nickle. There just asking that a Billion dollar profit a month company not take away from them what they worked for. And even more insulting than asking for concessions, is the CEO is giving himself raises. That's just crazy. Again please know before you post.
Enough is Enough......If you push someone enough they will eventually push back.
Don't take it personal. The beef is with the company and you represent the company. On another day in another time you two might be having a chat at the park with the kids. Don't let the union or the media turn you into a monster full of hate. Just like in politics, remember that at the end of the day where the politicians get everyone's panties in a knot, they then go out together and put work aside. Hatch (staunch Repub) and Kennedy (staunch Dem) were buddies. Remember that when you feel like ripping each other apart.
How long can you be threatened before you have to take action.
Just enjoy the fresh air don't worry about us union slobs

We're all tools. We need major change, just not Bernie's kind that will take us back to the failure and damaging results of socialism.
