According to Google Fiber's expansion plan map on their page, they don't seem to be planning to expand in the mid-atlantic and northeast. That's weird.

Hum and GO90 do appear to be going nowhere. But realistically the future of data transmission in via wireless means. Google is investing in fiber because they don't have wireless licenses. Ultimately wireless delivery is the future, and VZ is positioned well to be a leader. If Gllgle fiber doesn't pan out, they can afford the miss. Crack on VZ where it is due. GO90 and Hum aren't their first misses, but investing in wires is like opening a cassette tape factory.

GOOG will likely own Verizon or T at some point in the future, and Go90 and Hum are absolute losers, which is why the company is burying their stats. Very similar story to how things unfolded with MCI and Hughes Telematics and Terremark. All losers.
