I need a good labor attorney in New York

It's a long story and I do not want to go into legal detals, I feel I had been discriminated based (age discrimination) - anyone care to share info about good labor attorneys in New York?

There are some posts going back in January, February and March about folks who filed with the Labor Department in the hopes of getting some kind of class action, or at minimum having the Feds look into this.

Were you replaced by foreign guest workers (h1b workers). then I have lawyers prepared to fight for free. Please post if you were replaced by H1b workers in New York State.

Take the money and run. A lawyer will charge you over $250/hr just to read to you what is already in Verizon's Severance package. VZ has a team of internal and external labor lawyers to review these management RIFs before they are sent out. VZ can keep you in court longer than you can afford to keep paying a labor lawyer. If you lose you have to pay back the severance with interest. (when you signed the severance letter ....there is a clause about you not pursuing legal action...no such thing as you signed under duress). Enjoy the next phase of your career / life.

Take the severance. Suing is not worth it. Best to just move on and clean that bad taste of corruption out of your mouth. The money was good but the PC nonsense and antiAmerican discrimination was really destestable. What is fascinating is how little regard the asian and south asian bosses have for african americans. How they get away with it is astonishing.

Phillips & Associates on Broadway in NYC. Great team who is willing to represent against employee discrimination.

Age discrimination at Verizon is their one of their core competencies.

First white guys over 50

Then black enwomen over 50

The black and latino men over 50

That's just how it works at Verizon. Right now it is all about millennial milquetoasts, asians and south asians of any age. So if you don't fit in this group, then make sure that your resume is updated

Let me guess, you want to sue verizon and have them pay for it too?

Shall we get Verizon to get someone over there and wipe your asstoo?

There's a great office in Manhattan . Nelson and Murdock . Nelson is kind of a twit but Matt Murdock is awesome. He's one some tough cases and works all kind of hours for his clients. They're in manahattan . Kind of a cap area but hes good. Don't let the fact that he is blind get you . He's a real hero in my book
