That's not a good sign right? You think it's predominately the folks that are not protected under the no layoff clause or who do not get the pension anyway? Two of the things the union is striking for? That was a brilliant move by the union genus' to create two classes of members.. These unions act more like company agents than unions.

Americans prefer to battle on their feet, not their knees. I guess that is why Verizon does not like Americans, just their money. It seems they prefer a pu$$ified work force.
How in the world can this number be so exact 637? crossed. I believe it is Basking Ridge propaganda to break Union spirit (which will definitely be broken when / NOT if Lowell locks everybody out )

Last time there were a handful over the first week in the call center and this year many more. Things are different now.
That represents 1.6% of the employees if you take 637 against 40,000. I'm sure the union is REALLY concerned!
Still no link or information to verify claims of walkers, if you make statements like 637 crossed then please substantiate to claims

The union is not trying to keep the crossers secret. In fact i've seen their names and faces posted on Facebook. If someone has a hardship they can go to their local union for assistance before they cross. The union will pay for any hardships the member cannot afford. Go to Verizon management and ask them to pay for any hardship you have... Its a safe bet the answer would be NO!!

Union bosses might succeed in keeping the crossers secret from their sheep for a short while but the numbers are too large not to get out. A call center in MD has a slew of them.
Many more will cross after a week or two of R&R and even more before the insurance stops.
