The rumored call center closings have no merit and it's the unfounded whispers that keep the rumors alive. Different centers have been named on here for months... First to close in January, then March, now it's "any time now." Nothing but a lot of bullshit scaremongering and shills on this forum!
Mgt has been mandated to cut 700+ million in operating expense in 2016. Last I heard they only came up with just under 500 million. So yeah, more RIFs.
They should rif the executive team...

Of course there will be another RIF. My org has been hit with a RIF 8 of the past 9 years. RIFs are a way of life in VZ.
