I would have been a scab if I wasn't laid off. Went to the training and everything. I hope the union workers take it easy on the people pulled to do their job. My worst nightmare would be that I'd have to do it. I just hope they keep that in mind. No one was given a choice to do it in the first place.
If you are an Exempt / Management (NOT just Managers and above ) i.e. Salaried employee with a EWA - and go to work / cross the line .....you ARE NOT a Scab.
A Non-Exempt employee / Union (who crosses line ) is a Scab .
Scab-agers - I actually like that. It has a ring to it. Like the 'scavengers'.

Thank christ I am not from the NE. Like someone said before, you sound like a foreign country. No one I know talks like that...rude and bullying. I want to support fellow co-workers, but christ, you don't need us, by the sounds of it. I am empathetic to a fault, but this board has me doubting all humanity.

...if it is "scab" and "manager", then what if the scab is not a manager at all (not all of them are!), but just a rep or analyst? Then what? Most of these posts assume that manager and above are the ones with assignments, but not in 2016, my friends. Normal workers have assignments this time around. So all the blow horns and shouting are for naught. These people can't do a thing for you. I am sure this was done by design.

Yeah, none of this makes sense. I am not "manager", just a regular worker, and hearing all of this jibberish makes the NE sound like a foreign country. Not against some union ideals, but some of the people in them do not make it sound appealing at all.
@GTUaOwv-hof is the exact type of idiot who will make it difficult for other managers to get anything done out there. Fortunately I am guessing that the union guys will peg you very quickly and egg you on into doing something that you shouldn't. That will likely result in you getting fired or moved into another garage. I have no doubt that we will see a lot of you on youtube making an assof yourself and making the rest of us look bad.

It is very 1980s business philosophies for personal success. More managerial mumbo jumbo. They cain't find dial tone, but they can tell you which rocks you should put in your pail first. More management by best seller. When you can't figure out what do do to grow the business or how to stop making bad investments is when they reach for that junk.

To me, this isn't even readable. All of these terms sound like we are stuck in the 50's or something. None of these posts seem as if we have progressed as a people at all.
