Baker and Taylor is K - 12 and Follett will continue in that market and is looking to get out of the college book market . Very smart move by Amazon to purchase KIVA , and Follett a day late and a few dollars short as usual . They would pay pennies on the dollar just to get Follett out of the way . Trust me NOTHING they do at ADC is state of the art besides the robots in KIVA . They overload the shelves so bad the robots tires break and two or three people have to go in to push the broken robots out of the way . Look around , everything is changing a lot faster than expected at Follett .

Amazon couldn't care less about buying Follett, they want us out. Simple as that. After they're through with us, they're coming after the publishers. Just wait and see.
That or we got out of business before that can happen if students can use financial aid online to buy books.
This is digressing into a ad hominem argument. I will make one observation. Since Amazon owns the Kiva system, the big deal at the state of the art ADC (now that was a smart purchase by Amazon) why would they buy Follett - a failing business. All they have to do is wait until Follett self destructs and pick up the pieces for free. Follett is going to buy Baker and Taylor? With with what and why? They're gutting the company to pay the family dividends. So they're going to buy Baker and Taylor? They should have bought Kiva. Dumb as rocks. Amazon is the new business model, they don't need the failing crap.

The person who is writing this Amazon story line is a troll. It is obvious that this person know nothing about Follett or Amazon. Posters who prey on fears of others for sport is the worst kind of person.
I think the most Amazon would do if offer to take over the responsibility of servicing the students under an Amazon contract, helping Follett avoid consequences of breach of contracts.
