When I last went on strike it took Eighteen months, One and one half years, to make up the money lost while on the picket line. How is that Bettering my position? How is going on strike bettering ANY ONES position?
OKay, you do not have a contract, but the company and Union operate with an understanding of continuation until a new one is ratified. You work, collect a paycheck and life goes on. If the Union is not getting a fair shake, they can go to the Labor Relations Board and request their intervention to move things along.
Negotiations are just that. Give and Take, the company will not give it all away anymore and the Unions cannot take all they want.

The stand up Facebook page has turned off comments. The strike is off. They don't want us posting how stupid of a move this is.
Guess again. You were sold out. My guess is from the beginning. A lot of happy talk but both the union and the company knew what they were doing from the start. Wow. What a collusive screw job. Now you know why banks of hotel rooms were not reserved.

It is hysterical. Wonder if those little gullible babies will buy the unions excuse again. We have been telling them since yesterday that this strike wasn't happening.
