comical, Chris will spin this for his members and make it seem like a grand idea. Management did not mobilize and that is what made this stink. If Chris does not walk it will be obvious that this was all planned and he lost opportunity for center stage during primaries in NY. He is stupid if he caves into company demands. Mediation myass

rmn, incorrect, new mediator, BS spinner
new director at FMCS... Cohen was forced to resign after typical Obama admin style spending/corruption issues... like using federal funds to buy paintings for his office from his wife... many other examples... now Allison Beck is director.
Of course they agreed to it, it is the same mediator that sided with Vz the last time around. This was probably their plan from the start, and the Union fell for it hook, line and sinker. If the union doesn't go for it...bye, bye any politico's in their corner because then they come across as unreasonable. Classic manipulation.
It was vz when approached agreed 1st union on hold

"In the meantime, Verizon was approached by the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service (FMCS). FMCS asked if the Company would be willing to mediate if the unions extend the strike deadline. The company informed the FMCS that it's willing to participate as part of Verizon's continuing efforts to reach new contracts. At this time, however, Verizon has not heard if union leaders are willing to submit to mediation and extend the deadline for a strike."

It is in the news, but if you go into mediation without the stike, the union will lose big like the management employees below director, as some of the other managers are posting.
Can anyone actually confirm this mediation thing is legit?
