These 3 are closing in the next few weeks while the other 3 former Directv call centers in Huntsville, Huntington, & Boise will remain open for now.

They're moving nearly all the call centers off shore, most sites that were owned by Directv are closing within 2 weeks. Others that are contracted for the project have an expiration date, like mine. I deal with the people replacing the jobs and they don't know anything! So sad

No. What I heard from a clients who's brother works for AT&T is that AT& T bought out Direct tv and they will be shutting down all call centers in the US and sending it to the Phillipines.
Denver is true for a least upper management. Team Leaders were given their 2 week notice to find another job or go back on the phones as a front line employee...Its no secret that Denver site is closing or at least slowly dying. They have not hired at all and people being walked out everyday for minute situations. Anything to lower the amount of people that will get leave pay
Anyone heard any news since there were mandatory meetings @ mobility and DTV call centers?

Eager to see if this is true or not. There's definitely been some talk of it in the last few months. For the workers at those centers, I hope it's incorrect.
I just received word that Missoula, Denver, Tulsa call centers are not closing. All three have been picked to start a new call type. Looks like the closings are on the Uverse side.
