The extra money was nice. Ate my arse off. Worked my arse off. Was able to see peers I haven't seen in ages. Happy hour every night. Good times.
I made way too much. Doing the work of the union folks was easy, we were actually moving and resolving more tickets than the 'regular' workers. The supervisors loved the EWA staff and were sorry to see us leave. The money was great but I was glad when it was over. I'm looking to buy a new motorcycle with the extra income from this strike. Thank you.
I dont care about the money, i care about my time. they can pay me triple. still not worth it. I would rather have my freedom of time, then Big Red forcing their agenda down my throat
Double time after 51 hrs is the new policy this year.
I didn't make anything more and never had a chance to use my comp time.
I work straight through last time. 12 hours a day for 14 days. Time and a half for all OT. Didn't see any decrease in my bonus. I really hope they don't strike. But I console myself by counting the extra cash. This one should be over by the end of the month or they'll lose their benefits.
Not worth it
Nothing additional, not worth it.
It was like getting two checks instead of one, which was nice. But, when it came to bonus time, the bonuses were down by an almost similar amount. Amazing how that just happend to work out.
