I am not 100% sure that eoc's post is inaccurate. I have heard from many sources that they want us to walk to for the purpose of breaking us. Even our own communication from the local said back in August, said that we were not striking because they felt that the company was trying to provoke us into a long strike for the purpose of breaking the union. Definitely has me very concerned.

It's a shame that the union and company upper management cant act like adults and settle this. I did NOT sign up 20+ years ago to work strike duty some glorious day. The last agreement required the union to give the company a head's up regarding a strike. That agreement may still apply. Still it is a brilliant move by the union. There will be much scrambling over the next couple of days.
