Not completely frozen. I had elected to put a percentage of 2016 STI into my 401k or to deferred comp in order to get the matching (or the extra 401k match if any). I'd watch for it.

Yed you will get your profit sharing.....the 401k accounts are open still just for that reason. Once I move the profit sharing money out into one of my iras my 401k will be closed.
401k website already frozen and says that we are no longer VZ employees and can not make certain changes like how our future contribution should be invested. I am doubtful if the Big Begger (VZ) will match the 401k.
RIFd emps no longer have an active 401k . We will not get the 401k match.
Lowell and Shammo and RV poor folks must need it more than us.
If I recall, the conference call they had with all of us, we do get the profit sharing. As with the STI, we all earned it throughout 2015, only with the profit sharing verizon can't fabricate and hide the amounts with the SEC coming down and wanting to open all their cooked books. I am sure when all the RIF'ed cash out the awarded amount stocks will fall and on that day Lowell. Stratton and their cronies will buy. All about the buck! This has become the most corrupt company for anyone to do business with.
I did not see it in the severance agreement, but heard that we are going to get it.
If it's not in the severance agreement then don't count on it.
I don't think we will get it even though we contributed to the numbers last year
