Wonder if this will help squash rumors of VES sell off. I.E. Why would they invest in existing fiber infrastructure if that business is being sold. But then again perhaps the real want is the wireless spectrum, and the fiber is a bonus for a future sale?

Also - What's up with the company video from Judge on Friday evening regarding progress with contract proposals, sounds like the company backed off the job relocation and job security issues, yet according to posters on this site, the union is preparing to strike. The posturing and false bravado on both sides is tiresome..
