No matter what year it is, being callous with peoples livelihood is NOT okay. Taking advantage of people is NOT okay.

Wow. What a total fhead but thanks for posting random home office executive. This isn't about it happening all the time at other companies. It's about Follett handling this layoff so poorly, and not calling out the people who created this mess. People are going to litigate.. and many will win. All it takes is one successful attempt and there's a lot of opportunity right now if you're willing to talk and share with counsel. Don't sign that severance agreement until you've spoken with an attorney!
