This place is beyond saving.
I don't have a truck anymore to roll, i share it with the garage. I have to retrieve a key from a box that almost always gives you the wrong truck, and when i get one, i have to get my tools out of a cage. I have to do all this and get out of the garage before it explodes in 20 minutes. When i get to the customers house (remember the customer) I have no clue where anything is on this truck. The time wasted just trying to find the supplies and equipment is ridiculous. What pee brain thought this is a great idea? AND you want me to do MORE THIS WAY??? How many roadblocks can you put in front of me to make me fail? Our money comes through the customer, and you are choking, beating and battering to death the people that serve them. Morons.
Im just telling it how it is with a little sarcasm about the OPT in the beginning. Oh yeah, the next day you will have an GPS investigation as to what took so long. Then when the nabors see your van they come running over to either return their fios equioment or ask you to fix something because they waited on hold for 4 1/2 hours for someone at vz to answer.

Anyone at ATT or VZ that says this job is not hard is full of shit. This place has it all f---ed up to a spectacular degree..... and people still want it.

Wireline side. One guy does everything, run the xconn in the co, place the pole in the ground, place the strand, place the cable, place the tap, place the drop,red light the F@ back to the hub because the records are f---ed up, place the ont, place the bbu, place the OPSU, place the battery (or not), wire every room with coax, CAT5, and IW, install the router, install the STBs, install the WiFi NIMs, program all the remotes, place all the HDMI cables, fix all the order issues w/o calling anyone, activate the ONT, replace the garbage refurb ONT several times, activate the STBs, replace half that won't activate, track down hidden splitters in walls, track down hidden CATV amps in walls, replace the garbage 59 with 6 because our MOCA wont work, put the booties on, take the booties off, put the booties on, take the booties off, put the booties on , take the booties off, back and forth to the van, respond to auto texts "how much longer do you have on the job," answer the WIMT calls from the DRC "your 17th customer would like an ETA please," don't idle the van but don't let any tablets or phones or tablets go dead, explain fios to all family members. Ask if you can wash their car or dog.

FiOS saves truck rolls...????? NFW. Once you have it installed you get to meet every tech in your local VZ garage,and we'll be at your house for hours trying to fix whatever has gone wrong.
FiOS is not even a nut-sack hair better than cable due to the incompetent decision makers here.
