In case you missed it in the WBG thread, Verizon has developed a new ad campaign featuring a new character Shamlo the Clown.
If you are a fan of Ronald Mcdonald, John Wayne Gacy, or Stephen King's "It", you will love Shamlo.
Here is the pitch for the 1st ad;
Shamlo McLowsham in full clown gear, drags an elderly woman out onto a fire escape and dangles her over the edge, holding her by the ankles.
Shamlo:“If the customer who is just price-sensitive and does not care about the quality of the network—or is sufficient with just paying a lower price—that’s probably the customer we’re not going to be able to keep,” "
He then releases the old woman who falls down and off camera.
Shamlo "Verizon, not your Grandma's phone company"
Millennials will love you both for the Post-Modernism and the refreshing honesty.
