Outside techs were terminated on friday the 15th due to a frame up.

based on what I've seen in an network office in PA, i wouldn't be surprised about any of this.
Don't attack Dan, not everyone can be a superstar, look at his accomplishments um ah, maybe he does deserve it. No no he's a manager who has no conscience, technical ability or hell friends at this point, don't worry Dan Verizon will take care of you, one way or another.

The only time people get in trouble is when their postings go public. Facebook's terms of service let you control privacy, BUT if a "friend" re-posts something an employee writes, it may not be private anymore. There's an old saying - don't put anything in writing you wouldn't want on the cover of the NY Times.
it does happen more than you may think . an associate was walked out about 3 weeks ago for social media. she had "posted" on thefacebook that she hated a certain cable company and their product was not what was advertised.
COC violation. good employee walked out after 17 years. no progressive discipline. just unreal. a stern or written warning would have solved the problem in her case. it was unintentional, we tend to talk about the goofball industry we work in online.

If you doubt this story then you dont really work for verizon because this stuff happens all the time and actually people get fired or suspended for less. But anyone who actually works for verizon already knows this some people posting must not even work for the company
Keep your Facebook simple. You shouldn't have to worry about photos of your kids or wedding or pets effecting your job.
