Not sure if this is just a rumor or if it's true... I've heard from management in the Wireless side and other reliable sources in the company that the severance changed as of 2016 to 1 week for every year and capping at 9 weeks.... I hope this isn't true. This would really screw people over. I even tried to volunteer for the last round layoffs. I would have been happy to take the money and run...

Most of the time, rumors from Basking Ridge turn out to be true, that is where the bean-counters work. So keep your ears open in the hallways ,cafeteria and Gym

Internal Rumors has it, that McAdam is retiring soon. Not a specific data yet or time time frame. But that's the latest rumors I over heard a few employee discussing when I was in the cafeteria

No, or at least, not yet. The severance package, revised 12/7, is still for 2 weeks/year of service, up to 35 weeks with cobra extension of insurance for the same amount of time.
