This is public knowledge.... Verizon is loaded with debt - all told over $7.5B due on corporate bonds in 2016 alone.

Apparently the debt load does nothing to prevent the top execs from getting big raises. Man some people are just plain stupid ... and as Ron White said "You can't fix stupid".

Executive trying to justify their criminal activity. This comment has been posted on ATT site also along with Verizon site. Interesting. Yes Executives at both companies are scared that people will rebel when they get replaced by H1b , their jobs sent offshore and call centers closed. Nothing justifies GREED.

BTW , both companies posted outstanding quarterly results and the layoffs are continuing inspite of that.

What does that tell us all. GREEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
