Anyone else on here recently moved into this group from their mam role? It seems really bizarre how it all went down. Calls from wireless leadership the first week of December congratulating me on a promotion to WBG. Turns out it wasn't a promotion at all. No pay increase, more accounts spread out across the entire USA, a boss on the opposite side of the country so on and so on. All they really gave me were a bunch of shitty, under performing accounts that buy nothing essentially and a really high quota. O, and I'm supposed to live out of a bag also because the appointment expectations are absolutely insane.
I am hearing rumors that b2b in general is about to get flushed down the toilet. ADs, MAMs, BAEs. It's time to thin the herd I suppose. I don't feel secure at all with WBG. Makes me wonder if they just moved people here to get rid of them for non performance rather than have to pay anyone a severance. Makes sense with the shit accounts we were given!
Nobody's safe anymore. I've put in 18 years with VZW and its just sad how things have ended up.
