literally , I do not understand the "Shock" phenomenon , the layoff event currently being experienced, has already been experienced in the past, and will continue in the future, is this , "precognition" or "prophecy", not really but rather explain the fact that some people live in a bubble, this may be an anomaly of memory? Or may be some people just can't see ATT for what the corporation is all about. The winds of change are at your door, Wake UP!!

Which dept they laying off ?
On the call for the TP 22% reduction in Level 2s and 1s, with official notification on 1/21.
This is what happens when T acquires other companies, and feels that these folks can simply be discarded after a cursory period of employment when all is presented as rosy.
Watch out former Direct TV folks -- a lot of you will feel the same pain in the future.
