Screw that. I work in wireless and dumped Vzw a year ago. No more overages w T-Mobile. Works like a champ in my office and home and everywhere I go. Yea. U get a discount but not on overages.
If you're looking for a better deal, use straight talk. It rides on the VZW network anyway at a fraction of the price.
I wouldn't give this company a dime.
Lost mine about 6 months after the RIF. Was able to get 20% thru spouse's corporate discount. Both of us off contract now, so actually pretty affordable (~$40 mo/per phone) compared to what I was going to have to pay on contract with discount going away.
Take your last bill over to T-mobile, AT&T, or Sprint and enjoy an equal or better deal. Yes you can say bye bye to your employee discount. They port your number, you never even talk to vz.
Unless your age and years of service add up to 75 I think? Then you keep the discount for life. Otherwise, yes good bye discounts.
