Those of you that have left, where have you found jobs?

Leave!!! It's a waste of time! Killing yourself for unfair salery. Regionals don't care. I wasted 10 years of my life working for Follett. Don't waste your talent on a company that doesn't care. Regionals only hire their friends. Speak up!
Managed to stay in E-Commerce working from home twice a week with a big salary jump. Life after Follett isn't as bad as you're imagining.

Manufacturing company. 25K more pay, 4.5 day work week, no more fear management. Great Life after layoff (vacation) from a dying business and wasting my career.
There are better jobs out there, use you sick days, and get out and network!
Many go to other retailers. No thank you. Depends on your degree, strengths & experiences...and most importantly what you want to do.
If you've managed a bookstore, you've managed people, finances, inventory, purchasing, customer service, quality control, and a host of other things. The world is your oyster
Thank you for info, looking into health care, but university a good idea.

Where are you strongest? Have you worked directly with University employees? If you're at the home office, where did your colleagues go? What skills were helpful to them? Do you have an updated resume detailing how you impacted your department/clients?
Look at the university's job board. If you're at the home office, look at nearby colleges and universities. County government isn't a bad place to go, either.
