I was told the customers that are leaving are not the kind of customers we want. They're price-chasers with no loyalty.
LYCOS, yea they'd probably resurrect it.. All this is to push the stock up to make themselves look good that's all this is... I left in November not of my own accord, but the package was good, was looking to move on, got lucky and found a quick spot not to far away.. When I cut the VZW cord to my phones, Sprint took over as my carrier of choice, better than VZ and for 40gb a much lower cost, even with the employee discounts... They're not getting that Price is important, Millennials are price conscious, they've been cutting the cord for a while, and don't pay for over hyped things... The money tree is drying up..... They're trying to transplant it overseas and simply put, the roots are already dead, and the tree is decaying.
That's fine. Verizon is so infatuated with itself, it will ride the BETTER MATTERS train right off the cliff. The reality is when it comes to wireless carriers, Sprint and T Mobile as companies are about 25% the size of the elephantine Verizon and AT&T.
When network advantage is removed from the equation, does the smaller company with far less debt and overhead win? Does Lowell look in the mirror and tell himself he is the best engineer wannabe in the world? Yeah...pretty much.

1.)As in , we had 'the best' network in 1998 when AMPS was the predominant technology that we morphed into CDMA whilst the rest of the planet went to a more flexible and more inter-operable GSM standard.
2.)As in we hoped to make a go of HUM, GO90, Public Cloud, Fios, but that did not pan out.
