Keep thinking that and you will see yourself gone very soon. Sadly a lot of people are blind tot he reality of the direction ATT is going. People hear about downsizing and layoffs and think it will always be the other guy. DTV people and a lot of ATT people thought it was great when DTV was bought. They expected a lot of expansion. Hello, ATT is closing ALL US call centers for DTV by mid 2016 and except very limited areas will be using contractors to install DTV in homes. You will see big changes very soon but don't worry, you wont be included in any layoff. You will be here for years and get big raises and a free supply of Koolaid.
When they had these big top execs visiting Seattle last year. They were stuck in the meeting rooms probably meeting the offshore and contracting agencies. They stuck deals and screwed AMERICAN WORKERS. It was all hush hush deals, layoff older employees, get younger less qualified workers and have American workers train them.
Keep drinking the Koolaid.
1-3 meetings aren't a big deal and usually aren't productive in the means of getting any useful information. It's the 3 and above meetings you have to listen for.
Yeah, you're probably gonna be let go.
