Verizon has announced a surplus in various organizations. The EISP offers will be distributed to the affected employees beginning on February 15, 2015. The volunteer period will begin on February 22, 2015. Volunteers whose applications for EISP are accepted will have a last day worked of March 26, 2015.

I got an email from my supervisor last month saying this was coming, they were trying to get a count on how many of us were interested in taking it.
The OP cut and paste job had bad info it from the web site I guess. It has since been updated. The post is correct, and there is an EISP currently. Certain people on the board is holding the OP to task on it. They are the same one's as the grammar and spelling police.
