I was in olive garden, ONLY because I had a gift card, and we were forced to check out via some kind of tablet gizmo on the table.
Luckily, we always tip in cash even when paying with any sort of card because the tablet didn't give us an option to tip our waitress. when we brought it to her attention she said the company knew about the "glitch" but she was looking for a new job either way.
I am sure that is illegal in our state.
Their food, like red lobster's, is mediocre at best and rearely is it that. We normally frequent smaller, family owned establishments. This experience only helped to strengthen our resolve. In hindsight I wished we would have donated that gift card to someone more in need.
