Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Call Center Horror

If you think it is bad at the branch, take a look at the call centers. We are in a 6x6 cube tied to a phone for 8 hours a day with every key stroke and word we say monitored and micro-managed. We have sales goals to meet whether it matches the calls we get or not. In the sales dept, we get transfers from customer service bankers who are constantly pushed by service managers to get the customers over to sales. And they are severely reprimanded for not having enough warm transfers to sales. What this leads to is customers being brought over to my phone line who have no idea why they're being transferred to the sales department. The customer service bankers have gotten very good at this graft that it to the point of if the customer is elderly, or very young, or has a language barrier, mental handicap, or any other deficiency, they are easy marks and are getting transferred over to sales. This is an abhorrent business practice, and no matter how many times we complain about this, we are told to shut up and take the call. We use to be able to place feedback in on these transfers, but wells fargo does not written records so they took the feedback tool away...it is all about looking good to the auditors and not about fixing the problem! As long as WF keeps raking in the $$$!!!

Wells Fargo employee 2 years. 54 yrs old I have never been treated better. I am honest hard worker who would back Wells Fargo 100℅. Anyone who is dishonest should be ashamed, stop blaming Wells Fargo for your own failures. Wells Fargo pays emoloyees to go out and volunteer helping communities. We live by the standards but nobody seems to listen to anyone but the employees who could not. Speak for yourself, and take accountability.

Hello, To the 62 year old I don't know what kinda of fantasy world you are living in but I would love to move to your world. Wells Fargo may treat their customers good because they are making money from them. When it comes to there employees all they are to them is a number. They don't care about them. They just care about how much productivity you can do or how many things you can sell in 8 hours.

Excuse me. Anonymous dos not need to be ashamed of what they are currently experiencing in their location. Your location may be fine and/or you are the managers 'favorite'. In any case, Anonymous has the right to speak out about the abuses they see and are suffering.

It's not that bad @FWtecHj - keep in mind, you are not on the top of the pyramid when in a Call Center

You should be ashamed of yourself Anonymous . I have worked at WF call center for almost 5 years. I am 62 years old and have never felt that pressure before. Of course there are goals to meet because call centers are costly to run and there is not much revenue. Wells Fargo is a wonderful company to work for, they take very good care of their customers and their team members.
