What was once a great company and a great employer before the Wacovia purchase turned into just another greedy Wall Street bank heavily reliant on "spin" both externally and toward its employees. I was relieved to be laid off, and I never thought I would say such a thing after working for many years for the Wells Fargo of which I was so proud.

I worked for wells for 14 yrs before being laid off. I was very proud of my employer and was devastated with the layoff. I had survived 3 major layoffs during the 14 yrs so when it happened to me in january 2014 I was very surprised. It turned out to be the best time to retire, which is what I did. I miss working, miss wells fargo, and miss my coworkers.
