Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Does anyone ow many Verizon employees have been laid off since the October 8,000 plus layoff?

I am curious to get an approximate number of all the rounds of layoffs. Why have we never heard about this on the national news? How did Verizon manage to keep it so quiet?

Lowslaves keep running the company from a wireless perspective, and Shamu in the water behind with the hood to ax the biggest management salaries to cover the debt....

8000 plus was the number. Just go to any wireless regional or former area office and witness the rows and rows of empty cubicles. I would say Irvine is at 15% capacity and just 2 years ago, it was overflowing. They keep it out of the news because we are all spread out. A few hundred from one state, a couple hundred from another. Besides, Lowell has the media in his pocket, I hardly ever hear anything negative about VZ on the news.

In answer to your first question....... Not enough. Second question...only the board of directors and Wall Street analyst need to know, and we just present it as attrition. Third question, I am the mater of the universe ... Yours truly Lowell Now get back to work, your pension is a drag on my universe
