Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

PSC not doing its job

How is it possible that the company is allowed to starve a section of the business that they are obligated to provide?

An emergency triple play, slipped through the crack and into the load, don't ya know.

Now get to work and don't wreck the truck.

The little dick asswipes that run this place do whatever they want.

That's why I write a check for Zero dollars and Zero cents every month to them.

Even if it was free to employees, I still wouldn't use their garbage products.

The New York State Public Service Commission was neutered by Governor George Pataki in 2003 leading to the 2003 mass Verizon layoffs. George, on a request by then CEO Ivan Seidenberg dropped Verizon's service agreements to the public, ( the 24 hour clock) and relieved Verizon of it's responsibility as a public utility. Verizon is only a public utility when it suits them, as in Taxes, right of way litigation and of coarse giving their technicians letters as "Emergency First Responders" in time of crisis. The letter allows Verizon technicians to be on closed roads during a blizzard to report to work and, No Lie, be handed a triple Play installation. Verizon flips the middle finger to there Employees the same way they flip the middle finger to the PSC and there customers.

Buddy are you watching what's going on in this country. Hillary will get the Democratic nomination why, because the powerful people want her. Verizon pays millions to political figures, which means they get their way. Our system in broke, until the rich and powerful get uncomfortable nothing will change, they win, they always win.
