Att is hq. Here along with Rockwell Collins, and many other telecom companies. The growth here is unbelievable. Soon the metroplex will be larger in population than Chicagoland. Get usto nyc, la and dfw being the big three in USA. Charles Schwab is relocating 7000 from California. Toyota brought 5000, State Farm 4000, Uber has a building under construction for 3000 workers. McKesson, flur, Kurig, Pizza Hut, frito lay, Exxon, jcpenny, and hundreds of others have moved corporate hq to Dallas area. Plano and frisco are stunning. It’s a great place to raise a family, great schools, lower cost of living, high wages, low taxes. And best of all, government helps residents and business, it’s not a adversarial relationship.

Long term leases mean nothing, they sub it out to another company and move on.. Texas I'd be surprised, more than likely North or South Carolina, Right after they get the majority of the old guard out of VZW, and cut staffing to the bone.. They they'll give the option like a certain NY insurance company did to move down with a 30% or so paycut.. Once their you'll be training your replacement and cut after a year. This all goes back to the politicians and their pockets getting filled by the CEO's, who then are allowed to outsource the jobs.. The the Pols come back with increases in taxes on us, yet we keep voting in the same idiots who jeep doing the same things to us... So who's really to blame?
There is a reason why basking RIDGE was sold. VZ is relocating to TEXAS . Leases can always be broken. The relocation is scheduled to start in 3 years.
I'd be very surprised if they move it. This new building is for wireless and whoever they didn't rif or transfer to Frontier in Irving.
The have a long term lease on the basking ridge facility. I doubt their new landlords will accept them shutting it down. So the space is better used fully.
No, they will all fit right in, never underestimate the lowman, gotta hand him one, he is always scheming, but the millenial fantasies will not bring the revenue expected.
