They declared something like 42 guys surplus. Gave them the option of being layed off or reporting to Philly within 2 weeks.
Explain "Pittsburgh debacle". Left company in early fall 2015. Appears timing was spot on.

Associates aren't "riffed" only management.

I know people in finance who have given the option of a Riff or relocate.

Wireline people are being moved, yes in pittsburgh , WPA, Central.. It just happened again this week in WPA.
I'm sure the OP could have been more clear.....or is afraid of revealing too much maybe?... as management is head hunting in wireline. For some reason the company does have a hard on for PA, not sure why, but it's evident.

Could you try to be less outrages and give some specifics? Filing NLRB & EEOC without some essential weakens any complaint and makes the filer less creditable. Less emotion, more cognitive analysis please.
