Talking to various people out in the field reveals a common consensus that something is coming down the pipe in March. Call it a gut feeling or premonition....told everyday that work is slow......put in for some training and told that it will take awhile before it can be arranged. What is your feeling?

Same thing happening to call center reps. Replacing them with "leveraged reps" that have fewer benefits and lower pay while Union does nothing because allowed in contracts. Used to be able to talk to order managers but now have to call one call center in India and deal with "universal agents". Directv management now part of management layers and prompts many to ask "who bought who?"
AT&T wont "replace" Union workers. They will surplus them and create a new job title for the Directv techs, kind of like how they surplused Core techs and crested the Prem Tech title years ago.
ATT cannot just replace u-verse techs with non-Union personnel. The contract will not allow it.
We are hearing the same here in the Supply Chain under digital experience org. Something is coming quickly. Most like they will start off shoring much more to TechM and IBM.
We found out yesterday that a major slash and burn is coming to uverse side! We will see union members replaced with att non union employees
Depends on organization i suppose but I have heard from VP that changes are coming but he would not elaborate or answer any questions. Would not give timeline however I am certain he knows specifics.
