3ael - well this is what deterimines what happens next.I hav e seen people who were riffed who made it to the end of the year get treated well, and I have seen where many nibbles were taken out of other bonus and shared among those who remained. I think HR knows though that what is that given the size of this rif that if they don't play fair it will haunt them in legal fees and public black eyes. Or not.

Board met on 2/3. Idk when a communication will go out. The accrual was the same as last year, so likely will be about the same

My last day on payroll was 12/31 and it states in my severance package that I will have to wait for the performance results like everyone else who is still employed.

2skk... you might have gotten 100% on your 2016 bonus (prorated for your severance weeks) but anyone who was rif'd 12/31 will have to wait and will be paid their 2015 STI based on the company performance and their personal modifier.

i know the folks that got rifed dec 31 2015 got 100% payout on there bonus. So i dont know how that would affect the remaining folks. Its odd they would get 100% and then the leftover folks get 80% funded payout.

Bonus? What bonus? I cancelled bonuses this year.

You should be receiving your enrollment in the Jelly of the Month Club shortly.

We all could have used some Union help in wireless.

I think the STI bonus will be 80%. Reason? VZ realize mass layoffs have affected morale and will throw a bone (small) to the..........little people. At 80% payout, most of us, still employed, will be grateful and low Mac will walk among us expecting us to kiss his hand and bow our heads.

I think 1amb is bucking for the perk that Accenture offers it's LGBT employees:

Rumor is 70-90% but I don't think it is final yet. Hopefully next week we will know with payout before month end.

Bad news on the bonus folks. T-Mobile was just ranked the fastest wireless carrier. So Lowell's little red balls are going down the drain .... and he'll be taking yours with him. Go Ver-Lie-zon!

I'm interested too. What shows up in that check will decide whether or not I file a lawsuit against Verizon. They said they were going to play fair. If they play fair, I will play fair.

I looked at the date of last year's announcement and it was dated Feb 10th so next Tuesday would be the equivalent.

It's the same as every other year - a cat and mouse game. They tell Wall Street we had a stellar year but internally " your best wasn't good enough".

I bet that handful at the top will see a higher percentage regardless of performance. And, it is totally ridiculous that they wait till the last minute to tell anyone anything. Such a game. They could have projected in Nov the range in which the VIP would fall. It's just like your water or electric bill - just an arbitrary number someone pulls from "somewhere".

The minimum, just like every other year.

Good question. I'd like to know too. Anyone now what the percentage and the payout date it? Thanks.
