Trickle down would be OK if the millionaire/billionaire/corporate executive class were made up of moral people - unfortunately, it seems they're (mostly) NOT. Verizon is a 200 billion dollar company. The CEO makes 18 million dollars a year and if you add in the next five company executives, they're pulling down like $50 million in compensation a year. The company is profitable to the tune of 1.5 BILLION dollars a month. Wow! So please explain to us why the company has just laid off 6,000 people, is hiring H1-B's and outsourcing to India, and why they're demanding pension and 401k concessions from their union workforce. This kind of bullspit is going on all over America, but if we bring it up we're engaging in class warfare according to the FOX News crowd. Something's gotta give soon.

SNW will be rif'd just like the rest...but unlike the rest he won't see it coming...the fact is that corporationism, not capitalism runs america now...capitalists would recognize the destruction of the working class as a bad thing, ie who is going to buy our products when all the good jobs are in india...but corporationists live for the moment, the way to a nickel rise in stock price is paved with rif's...and all the while our useless politicians sleep...well their day is coming too when there won't be a tax base to fund their fat salaries and pensions...this country is doomed if this continues

snw is one of those people who thinks that the company loves 'em, until they get the tap on the shoulder one day and find out that their hard work and loyalty was not worth nearly as much to the upper management as making the stock price go up a nickel in the next quarter is.
Man up and better yourself, good one. Many college graduates have done just that, now what. 100,000 in debt, can't start a family, buy a house, or pay it back. Some people listen to talk radio and believe the dream is alive. Just work harder then the next guy, yeah right.
The system is rigged snw is living in the past. Just look at college debt, kids will never get out from under it. Better yourself is something many are doing, but it may not help, times they have changed. I guess I just happened to make all the right turns in life, lucky me.
