Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

AT&T to drop legacy services (pardon if this is a repost)

So AT&T plans to layoff more people with the justification that their services are irrelevant. So when does the management leadership become irrevelant? Mobility is and has been what keeps this company with high earnings and the sad part is that they are laying off the long time mobility employees and keeping the landline management. Sad but true!!

Not sure if your an ATT employee but if you are then your living under a rock because the company intends to dump all wireline and U-verse services and only have Mobility and Direct TV.

Verizon is doing the same thing and dropped the East states including Florida, Texas ( yes Texas Verizon was the dominate carrier not ATT) Nevada and California.

The next for ATT will more than likely be the Midwest states and then move into MOKA. Politically Texas will more than likely be last but it will go also. Most people think it will not be them , it will be the other guy. Sad
