I am assuming that the lack of chatter on here today that there have been no mass layoffs!

Wilmington, NC... When did they cut them?
If vz get a good 1st quarter in 2016 they will conclude that riffing a few thousand and selling wireline assets was a good move. With Wall Street cheering them on, it will be like a rummage sale.
Post sale the rifs will come. So April.
I was rif'd last year but still have contact with former coworkers. They let me know if something big is happening. No word of RIF's this month but a lot of people getting moved around to different teams.
Almost half the staff at the call center were cut. The call center employed nearly 2500 people at one time. That is devastating to a small city like this.

The names are coming up, I think they just want people to let their guard door. The office atmosphere been too tense sense the last laid off, morale are down. I feel that they are just buttering people up for the next mass laid off that is ahead. It may not be now, but it is soon
there was a little action on the cmb side on thursday. should be another one before the quarter is up.
