I don't know why the media didn't report on the 1/21/16 layoffs within TP&E. How does AT&T keep it out of the press?? That's how I stumbled on this site, I was looking to see if the layoffs made the news. I thought the 22% cut of level 1 and 2's not to mention some level 3's getting hit would be newsworthy. Go figure.

AT&T should take steps to become the #1 cell phone provider by building more cell towers across the country. This alone will bring their sales up tremendously.
ATT seems to layoff people and close offices in diff months and quarters during the whole year , so there doesn't look like att has a surplus big enough to make headlines when its not a mass downsizing across the board at the same time. It probably good public image for them to not disclose Big layoff numbers and show they are in crisis.
