Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

Legal Action ?

If you were let go legal action will be an uphill battle.

Why?

  1. You were offered the option to "stay" and find work within a 50mi radius of your current office

  2. You waived your right to sue....in accepting your severance package. The language states if you sue and win, you may not accept any monetary recourse. Dollars must be surrendered.

You talk directly with Fidelity regarding your Pension and 401K. You do have the option to remove them both and place with a company of your choice. The 401 can remain there, but it is best you remove Pension if you have one.

@Fbaucke-

While I would expect my prior year's unpaid bonus (2015). I would NOT expect current year (2016) bonus. I don't think they've ever paid that out. Wouldn't you need another MPP for payout and company earning metrics?

idon't understand the 401K part. If you're vested you're entitled to all of your 401k monies.
