NY NJ To Get Hit Hard 2016+

Golden Boy long gone from Bedminster and moved to Dallas.

Once the new DirecTV and overall Super NOC is completed in Dallas, NJ is over!

White Plains and NYC rents, leases, and salaries are very high in the eyes of the C suite.

EOY rumors indicated NY NJ was somewhat spared major cuts in 2015. Why? So the network would remain stable in the Wall Street "market" where share price gets a daily vote!

Funny things with Bedminster Complex....Sold complex, started a lease instead, tried to renew lease last summer with two rather than four buildings. Bedminster is a ghost town with high expense...people and facilities. GNOC is the only anchor to NJ.

12 in the NOC and 11 in sales and 22 in other support jobs. No one in CT works on anything in CT so why keep the office space.

The NJ lease will be dropped as soon as the center in TX is completed. Cost is lower and salary's are lower by a lot. Certain directors and others are being offered a move to the TX area with relocation expense. The ones who do not know of the offers are the ones who will be laid off.

Say you don't know and don't think so. think again.

Also the people in Connecticut and New York will be gone within two years totally. Why pay people who don't do anything in the areas they live. Costs for maintaining office space in CT and NY is very high and wont be kept. Again the people in those states think it wont be them.

Ask your director if he/she was offered a move. If they were then wake up.

When you say the lease was renewed, do you mean with at&t? If so, then wouldn't that be a good sign that people will keep their jobs for a while. At&t is also painting, vacuuming, repairing windows, and cleaning our building. What has that got to with layoffs? A lot of folks were moved around today as well, so much confusion.

Bedminster renewed lease until 2023, with option to break lease earlier. The actual date at this time is 1st quarter 2017. The building owners already started adding improvements..cafeteria area has work being done and the whole building has new motion detector lights installed. There is much more work scheduled for 2016. Also major announcements coming soon. Time to get a game plan if you don't already have one.

AT&T wireless service quality is always much less in RCR and consumer reports...especially in NYC. T-Mobile, Sprint, VZW, collectively blow ATT away.

I used to work at AT&T and work on Wall Street now. The AT&T service on Wall Street is awful. People joke about it all the time saying something is "almost as bad as AT&T's service." Meanwhile, T-Mobile works incredibly well.
