Pob-Please brace yourself. Irvine customer service was at one point the highest rated call center in the nation and never closed for weather days! They have been gone now for a year. Common sense/logic is no longer a skill set utilized by upper management. Retail stores will be cut this next year so everyone should be reducing personal expenses and working on a Plan B. I hope your store makes it but still be prepared if it doesn't.

Millennials only shop online, haven't you heard.
You work in a busy store? Perfect then it can be turned into an indirect and Verizon won't have to pay for expensive employees.
I see nothing that points to this - I am in So Cal, we keep getting more busy, we keep adding headcount, the store works really good, why would you do something like this?
If more RIFs are coming, I am assuming they would provide what they provided for the first group. Someone mentioned in management said 3rd week of January. Surely they would offer packages as well....your thoughts?
There are always more rifs coming. This is the new normal for Verizon.
Maybe February & off payroll end of March. All departments including sales. AE, MAM, AD's, Directors, support groups, new wireless business group. All will be effected. All rank and file. Cuts are coming once again. Brace yourselves. get out of debt save money you could be next. Cuts will be the new norm every year. GO90 oh i mean GoVerizon Go. Good luck.
Is it formally weitten on paper? No.
But you know the main way to satisfy wall street is to cut headcount, at least at vz.
Its a short term solution but as you see vz is run by the quarter.
May be first we will raise the cost of CLAs and cases to $100 and see who bites.
